 Book Buddies Reading Dogs

September 1 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

It has been found that children are more at ease reading out loud to a friendly dog than to a human. This discovery has led to The Book Buddies organization partnering with the library in an effort to offer children another way to improve their reading skills in a fun environment. Utilizing therapy dogs as listeners for children who have reading and speech difficulties, this is a reoccurring event at East Hills Library. You don’t have to register for the event, and if you have questions please call the library at 236-2136
